The Bollywood actor-filmmaker Rajiv Kapoor, who is the youngest brother of legendary actor late Rishi Kapoor has died of a heart attack.
Famously known for his role opposite Mandakini in the film ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ Rajiv Kapoor was rushed to Inlaks Hospital in Chembur, Mumbai by his family members.

The 58-year-old actor could not be saved by the doctors and he was declared dead on arrival. The actor had was not keeping well and was not active for the last few months. His death was announced by his sister-in-law Netu Kapoor through her Instagram post.

He was the youngest among Raj Kapoor’s three sons. Born on 25th August 1962, he made his Bollywood debut in 1983 with the film ‘Ek Jan Hain Hum’. Last year, Rishi Kapoor died at the age of 67 in Mumbai due to prolonged sickness. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2018.
