Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has revealed that how late veteran actor Rishi Kapoor would follow a celebrity gossip website to know what his son, Ranbir Kapoor, was up to.
Abhishek Bachchan, who had worked with Rishi Kapoor in movies like ‘All is well’ and ‘Delhi 6’, in a recent interview recalled an incident of the time when both were shooting for a film in Shimla.
Abhishek had discovered how Rishi Kapoor, who had succumbed to cancer last year, would keep tabs on his Ranbir. He shared that he had gone to Rishi Kapoor’s room one morning to have coffee with him during the shooting. I walked into the room and he was in his lungi, he had these small glasses and he was on his computer. I found that very cute from behind, this visual.”
Further, when Abhishek Bachchan had asked Rishi Kapoor what he was up to, the veteran actor had told him about how he reads gossip websites to know what Ranbir has been doing and said, “(This is) the only way I can tell what Ranbir is doing.” Abhishek Bachchan then said.
He further said, “I was like that this guy, he is amazing! He had no filter. He would just say it.’ So, he was following (the site) to know what Ranbir was up to. I found that so sweet.”

Rishi Kapoor died of cancer aged 67. He was part of the Kapoor acting dynasty which has long dominated Bollywood, the Hindi film industry. He debuted as a child actor in 1970 in his father Raj Kapoor’s film, Mera Naam Joker. Several of his films in the 1980s and 90s – Khel Khel Mein, Karz and Chandni became massive box office hits.
