KARACHI: Famous actor Javed Sheikh has revealed that as a teenager he once stole Rs.100 to be an actor but ended up being beaten up.
According to Javed Sheikh, he was beaten up for stealing his father’s money to become an actor. In an interview with a TV Host, the senior actor shared that he stole Rs 100 from his father’s pocket at the age of 12 or 13 after which he got on the train to Lahore with his friends to become an actor.
“I was very happy, however, unfortunately, my father found out and he started looking for me,” he shared. “He along with his friends started looking for me, my father came to the station looking for me and grabbed me by the neck, after which I was hung upside down in the house and beaten, the actor jokingly unveiled.

He also shed light on his young life that he once dated a French girl. “I met her in Karachi but she lived in Paris and came here for holidays, there was nothing at that time so I had to go to France to meet my girlfriend.”
He added, “I sold my father’s car and bought a ticket in order to meet my girlfriend in France on which my father hit me again.”
