Sarfaraz Ahmed’s biography added to fourth-grade Urdu book
LAHORE: The cricket board of Pakistan (PCB) has canceled the accreditation of local TV reporter who misbehaved with Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed. This incident took place during a press conference over the weekend.
According to reports, the press conference was held on Saturday for the benefit of the National T20 Cup but Sarfaraz was asked questions related to Pakistan’s home defeat to Sri Lanka.
Sources further added that the national team’s captain was upset over the situation that he had quit captaincy of Sindh and send Asad Shafiq forward.
Later, the PCB has taken the required action and canceled media accreditation of the reporter informing his TV channel regarding the decision.
According to the spokesperson of PCB, “the policy of board concerning media is clear. These cricketers are our heroes and we celebrate them. Media is certainly allowed to ask questions but no one is permitted to misbehave or violate the boundaries of decency.”
