ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) leader Akram Durrani will hold a Rehbar Committee meeting today to discuss the political issues of the country.
During the meeting, the verdict against Pervez Musharraf’s treason case, tenure extension of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) actions against opposition leaders will be discussed.
Major opposition parties, including the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), will be gathered in the meeting today.

Earlier in November, the senior leader of the Rehber committee, Akram Durrani requested the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to grant him bail in the assets beyond income case. He was booked in connection with assets beyond known sources of income, illegal recruitments, and allotment of plots for the mosques.
