KARACHI: Precious metals recorded a mixed trend in global markets on Tuesday morning, with gold and silver prices declining while platinum remained largely stable.
Spot gold fell by 0.3% to $4,126 per ounce. Similarly, US gold futures for December delivery dropped 0.3% to $4,146 per ounce.
Silver prices also moved lower, with spot silver declining by 0.7% to $56.69 per ounce.
In contrast, platinum prices remained broadly unchanged at $1,639 per ounce. Palladium, meanwhile, fell by 0.7% to $1,112 per ounce.
Movements in precious metal prices are closely watched by investors as they reflect developments in international financial markets and investment trends. However, global prices may differ from domestic gold and silver rates in Pakistan’s local bullion market.
