Rawalpindi man arrested for raping minor girl

Rawalpindi Police have arrested a man accused of sexually raping a minor girl in Naseerabad area, it emerged on Sunday.

According to details, the plaintiff in the case said that the accused had sexually assaulted his daughter. Naseerabad police registered a case and arrested the accused.

Meanwhile, SP Potohar said that the medical process of the victimized child has been conducted, and the individual in custody will be presented in court with solid evidence.

SP Potohar Chaudhry Ashar Ali further said that harassment or assault against women and children is intolerable.

Earlier, Police have arrested a man accused of trying to sexually assault an 11-year-old girl in Sheikhupura’s Ferozewala.

Sheikhupura District Police Officer (DPO) Bilal Zafar Sheikh said that the incident occurred in the city of Ferozwala on Aug 15 (Saturday), when the girl had gone missing at around 2pm while on the way to her uncle’s house.

As her family searched for her, witnesses directed them to a nearby field, where the suspect was attempting to sexually assault the girl, the DPO said.

Girl student sexually assaulted at Soldier Bazaar’s JTMC School

A schoolgirl was allegedly sexually assaulted at JTMC School located near Soldier Bazaar No. 1, Kachi Para, Karachi. According to police officials, when the student reached school in the morning, the watchman’s son Shehryar allegedly tried to rape her. The accused fled after the incident, but the police took action and detained Shehryar. Residents and locals protested against the incident in Soldier Bazaar and burned tires. According to the police, further investigation into the incident is underway.
