RAWALPINDI: A family in Rawalpindi has accused a police constable, Nisar Shah, of blackmailing in order to gain illicit relations.
According to details, the incident took place in Rawalpindi’s Jhelum district. The police constable allegedly runs a brothel and abducted transgender persons and women.
A woman of the family informed that Constable Nisar Shah had an illicit relationship with her daughter Asma Bibi who was already married. “The police constable forced my daughter to divorce her husband,” she said.
After these incidents, the victim’s mother filed applications to DPO Rawalpindi and Punjab Chief Minister in this regard. “When Nasir Shah came to know about these applications, he filed fake cases against my daughter and daughter-in-law,” she added.
She further informed that her daughter-in-law is pregnant and was treated inhumanely by the police officers. “The police had also taken Rs. 750,000 from my house under the pretext of search,” he added. According to the woman, the police constable had also abducted her son.
The woman has appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to take strict action against the police officer and his supporters and provide justice to her family.
