LAHORE: CTD Punjab has conducted extensive IBOs across Punjab to avert any untoward incident. CTD Punjab conducted 21 IBOs in different districts of Punjab. During the operations 22 suspects were interrogated.
The arrested include, Inam-ul-Haq s/o Abdul Haq of defunct organization TTP, Miskeen Ullah s/o Muhammad Saeed from TTP, Wahid Khan S/o Khun Sarwar from TTP, Sher Naqeeb S/o Muhammad Arbab Khan from TTP, Shah Wali s/o Chinar Gul from TTP.
Accordingly, 04 FIRs were registered against the arrested persons:
The CTD teams also recovered an IED bomb, explosive 510gm, Safety Fuse Wire 2.1ft, Hand Grenades 02, Electric Circuit 01, Electric Button 01, Detonator 02, Battery 01, 05 Books of Banned Org, 2 Mobile Phone, and Cash Rs. 17,230/-

Furthermore, during this week, 526 Combing operations were conducted with the help of Local Police/LEAs. During these Combing Operations, 21227 persons were checked, 130 suspects were arrested and 82 FIRs were registered, 27 recoveries were made.
CTD Punjab is proactively pursuing its goal of safe and secure Punjab and will not leave any stone unturned in its efforts to bring terrorists and anti-state elements behind bars.
