Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s senior leader Najeeb Haroon has also decided to quit the party.
In his statement, Najeeb Haroon said that the events of May 9 have tarnished Pakistan’s image. He has been involved in political struggle for 27 years, and these events have also divided our politics.
Najeeb Haroon further stated that he will continue to serve Pakistan according to his capabilities and power. He mentioned that he had asked the PTI Chairman to give someone else the opportunity to become Prime Minister.
The former PTI leader said that on March 18, 2022, he advised the Prime Minister to resign in front of the media, and on April 16, 2020, he resigned from the assembly after making a difficult decision.
