LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ‘s Okara leader Chaudhry Abdullah Tahir was killed in a targeted gun attack in Lahore on Wednesday.

According to initial reports, Tahir was en route to a routine medical check-up from his residence in Gulberg when two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire on his vehicle.
As a result of the firing, Chaudhry Abdullah Tahir sustained critical injuries. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after the incident and collected evidence from the crime scene. Police have launched an investigation to trace the attackers, while a search operation is underway in the area.
