Islamabad United and Multan Sultans will clash in the 7th match of Pakistan Super League 2025, (PSL X).  The game will be started at 8:30 pm in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

So far, Multan has lost its only match, and Islamabad has won both its matches in the tournament.

Multan scored 234/3 in their 20 overs against Karachi Kings and lost by 4 wickets. Islamabad, meanwhile, has convincingly beaten both Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi in their campaign so far. While the United overcame Qalandars by 8 wickets, they beat Zalmi by a huge margin of 102 runs. With that, Islamabad is at the top of the points table.

Both teams have some of the best players in the world in their lineup. While Multan Sultans  have the likes of Mohammad Rizwan, Michael Bracewell, Chris Jordan, and others in their line-up, the Islamabad-based side includes Agha Salman, Shadab Khan, and Naseem Shah among others. It can turn out to be another one-sided contest, with Islamabad claiming a hat-trick of wins.

Head-to-Head Record:

Multan Sultans and Islamabad United  have faced each other 16 times in the PSL history. Neither of the teams have any advantage or disadvantage, as they have 8 wins and losses each to their name. While none of their games ended without a result, Islamabad beat Multan in a thriller by 2 wickets in their previous encounter in 2024.

Squads:

Islamabad United (ISL): Sahibzada Farhan, Andries Gous, Colin Munro, Agha Salman, Azam Khan (WK), Muhammad Shahzad, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan (C), Jason Holder, Riley Meredith, Naseem Shah.

Multan Sultans (MUL): Mohammad Rizwan (C & WK), Shai Hope, Usman Khan, Kamran Ghulam, Tayyab Tahir, Michael Bracewell, David Willey, Chris Jordan, Usama Mir, Akif Javed, Shahid Aziz.
