ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed a reduction in the prices of petroleum products by Rs 7 to Rs 10 per litre.
The OGRA sent a summary to the federal government regarding the reduction in the prices of petroleum products. Ogra has proposed to reduce the price of petrol by Rs 7 to Rs 10 per litre, and diesel price might be reduced by Rs 8 per liter.

Sources stated that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will consult with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on OGRA recommendations. The final decision regarding the prices of petroleum products will be made on Monday, the new prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days will be applied after 12 midnight on May 15.
It should be noted that in the last 14 days, the price of crude oil in the Brent oil market has been as high as $77.44 per barrel.
