Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trajectory on Friday, reflecting the overall decline in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold in the local market dropped by Rs1,595 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs357,000
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,368, reaching Rs306,069.
This decline follows Thursday’s decrease, when the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs460 to settle at Rs358,595.
Internationally, gold prices also fell on Friday. The global rate stood at $3,356 per ounce, including a $20 premium—marking a decrease of $16, according to APGJSA data.
