The party called the Central Executive Committee (CEC) conference in Karachi on Sunday at 4:00 p.m., where the top leaders would meet to discuss the country’s key issues.
Earlier that day, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said he was satisfied that all parties were unanimous that the bill on the extension of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa would go back to the National Assembly and Senate bodies for consideration.

Pointing a finger at PML-N and PTI, the young leader of the PPP said they agreed to pass the army act in both houses unconditionally on Friday, ignoring the parliamentary procedure and not even circulating the COAS extension bill to all members or sending the legislation to committee supervision.
