He had been under treatment at Dr Ziauddin Hospital, Karachi, for the last three weeks.

Born on October 5, 1953, in Koshkarpur, Durrani received his early education at St. Patrick’s High School in Karachi. He later earned an LLB degree from Sindh Muslim Government Law College, laying the foundation for his distinguished political and legal career.
