KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has assured that the political interference will be eliminated soon for the development of institutions.
The statement came while chairing a meeting at the Governor House. Federal Minister Omar Ayub also attended the meeting through video link.
PTI Senior Vice President Sindh Mahmood Moulvi, HESCO, and SEPCO officials, several MPAs were also present in the meeting. Matters pertaining to power supply were discussed during the meeting.
On the occasion, the members of the Provincial Assembly complained about the unannounced load shedding in their constituencies. In this regard, Governor Sindh said, “We will address all the problems faced by the people of the province.”
Federal Minister Omar Ayub directed SEPCO and HESCO officials to resolve all grievances within a week. During the meeting, it has been decided that the Governor House Sindh will monitor power supply issues across the province.
PTI Senior Vice President Sindh Mahmood Moulvi took to Twitter and informed about the 5-hours long meeting under the chairmanship of Imran Ismail.
Mahmood Moulvi further said, “The federal government is taking stern steps to solve the problems, especially electricity problem, faced by people of Sindh.”
During the meeting, it’s been decided that Governor House Sindh will monitor power supply issues across Sindh.
