LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has issued show-cause notice to senior PML-N leader Javed Latif for making a statement against the reconciliation group.
According to the details, Javed Latif in a statement indirectly criticised PML-N president and some other party leaders considered close to him.
The PML-N in its show cause notice issued to Javed Latif said that the PML-N leader made baseless allegations against some party leaders and asked the leader to respond to this notice within seven days.
On the other hand, reacting to the issuance of show cause notice, PML-N leader Javed Latif said, “I know how the former prime minister agreed to issue me show cause notice. I am ready to leave the Assembly for the sake of Nawaz Sharif.”
PML-N leader Javed Latif said, “Now I might get a chance to get close to Shahbaz Sharif. Two or four friends in the party do not understand the political situation. Ignorant friends are not in the interest of PML-N while Nawaz Sharif is coming to Pakistan in November or December.”
On Friday, Javed Latif claimed while talking to a news channel that he knew how Nawaz Sharif was convinced to serve a notice on him as he (Nawaz) was not ready to do so. Latif also claimed that some leaders in the party meetings had spoken against Nawaz’s narrative.
