ISLAMABAD: Former law minister Babar Awan paid a visit to Prime Minister Imran Khan in the federal to discuss the political situation of the country.
Both Babar Awan and Imran Khan discussed the high treason case and its legal matters during the meeting.
The prime minister stressed that the incumbent government would not let Pakistan be wrecked from the road to stability. The institutions collectively made up the state and that was the state’s job to restore its institutions, he added.
Babar Awan also agreed by saying that the state was in strong hands and praised the prime minister for leading the nation in the right direction during times of crisis.

Both leaders earlier in November met in Bani Gala and discussed the party funding case during which the prime minister said that that the corrupt mafia who looted the country’s national exchequer would not be forgiven. Neither the corrupt mafia would be given relaxation nor there will be a compromise on the Roll of Law, he added.
During the meeting, the minister assured the prime minister that he would fully utilize the best of his energies in discharging new responsibilities to promote and implement the vision of the present government.
