DUBAI: Former president Pervez Musharraf has been hospitalised after his health condition worsened.
Secretary-general All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Mehrene Malik Adam said, “Former president General (retired) Pervez Musharraf was rushed to hospital after his health suddenly deteriorated. Former president’s health has been very poor these days and is receiving medical treatment in Dubai.”

A special court in Islamabad had ordered the former military ruler to record his statement in the high treason case by 5th December 2019.
The former president has been declared an absconder by the special court as he has not been appearing before the court since March 2016, when he left the country for medical treatments in Dubai the same year.
