PCB writes letter to 27 departments for formation of teams

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written a letter to 27 departments to form cricket teams.

Chairman PCB Najam Sethi wrote letters as per the PCB constitution 2014. On the special instructions of PCB Patron-in-Chief Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the departments have been requested.

The PCB requested the departments to confirm their participation in the upcoming season as soon as possible. Departments should respond as soon as possible to help prepare the season calendar.

In this regard, letters have been written to Ghani Glass, Income Tax, K Electric, Karachi Port Trust, Khan Research Laboratory, National Bank of Pakistan, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Omar Associates, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army, and Pakistan Navy. 

Apart from this, Pakistan International Airlines, Port Qasim Authority, Pakistan Television Corporation, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, Sui Southern Gas Company, WAPDA, and ZTBL have also been requested to form teams.
