LONDON: Former Pakistan’s envoy to the United Kingdom, Wajid Shamsul Hasan passed has passed away in London on Tuesday.
Wajid Shamsul Hasan remained Pakistan envoy to the UK during the Pakistan People’s Party government in 2008.
Hasan, who had been ill for two years, was shifted to a hospital in London two weeks ago after his health condition deteriorated.
He was also a close aide of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and the Bhutto family.
Former president, Asif Ali Zardari has expressed grief on the demise of Wajid Shamsul Hasan and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
