Regal Automobiles Industries Limited has achieved a historic milestone in Pakistan’s automotive sector with the launch of the country’s first locally assembled electric SUV, the “Seres 3”.
The unveiling ceremony, held at Regal Automobiles’ manufacturing plant, marked a transformative moment for Pakistan’s journey towards sustainable electric mobility. Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Adeel Usman expressed pride in the achievement, saying the launch of the Seres 3 is a proud moment for us and the nation.
“As Pakistan’s first locally assembled electric SUV, it underscores our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and a cleaner, greener future. This milestone reflects the potential of Pakistan’s automotive industry to lead the global shift toward electric mobility,” he added.
The Seres 3 combines cutting-edge technology with exceptional performance. Equipped with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery. The vehicle offers an impressive range of up to 403 km on a single charge (NEDC cycle).
It also supports DC fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 0-80% in just 40 minutes.
