ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistanis do not need to panic as the economy will take off again.
According to the details, in a statement, Ishaq Dar said that blocks have been created at the global level, but Pakistan will take off again. “People should not panic as we will get this country out of trouble again,” he said.
In the statement, Dar said that Pakistan has external debts of $100 billion while we have valuable assets including a gas pipeline. “If we talk about case pipeline, its value is 50 billion dollars,” he added.
The finance minister further added that Reko Diq assets are worth $3000 billion. “The government stopped the trend of economic decline. In the new financial year 2023-24, new taxes of 223 were imposed. The target is to keep the inflation rate at 21% next year,” he maintained.

It should be noted that earlier the finance minister said that if the budget is used well, the target of 3.5 growth rate will be achieved.
Three days ago, Dar said during the post-budget press conference that Rs 2,963 billion will be received in the form of non-tax revenue. The total expenditure of the federation is Rs 11,463 billion.
