Pakistani boxer Sameer Khan poked fun at his Indian rival, Bunty Singh, ahead of their Youth World Bantamweight clash in Thailand. A video of the incident went viral on social media.
In the video, Sameer and Bunty can be seen standing face to face before the match when Sameer suddenly made a hand gesture mimicking an airplane. The gesture appeared to reference the Pakistan-India military conflict in May. In response, Bunty pushed Sameer back with both hands.
At that point, the match referee stepped in to separate the two fighters.
Despite the intervention, Sameer continued taunting Bunty, this time flashing a “6-0” gesture with his fingers—another apparent reference to the aerial conflict. Sameer ended up smashing the Indian rival to clinch the title.

It should be noted that during the May conflict, Pakistani forces claimed to have shot down six Indian aircraft, including three Rafale jets.
Similar gestures were made by Pakistani players during the ongoing Asia Cup in Dubai, allegedly in response to controversial behavior by Indian players.
