Government buildings, major roads, and prominent landmarks in various cities across Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have been specially decorated to celebrate the historic defence agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye signed in Makkah.
The heads of state of the three countries signed an agreement on defence cooperation in Makkah Mukarramah the previous day. Following the signing, celebrations and special decorations were arranged in both brotherly countries.
In Pakistan’s federal capital, Islamabad, the President House, Prime Minister’s House, and Parliament buildings were illuminated with decorative lights. National flags of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye were also displayed along major roads across the city. Special banners welcoming the Makkah Defence Agreement were also put up along key thoroughfares.
Meanwhile, in Riyadh and other Saudi cities, prominent landmarks, towers, and important buildings were also decorated with the national flags of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye.
The displays reflected the strong defence ties and spirit of solidarity among the three countries.
