ISLAMABAD: A total of 482 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country while three more people have died due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,294,861 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,921 people lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 50,662 tests were performed for the diagnosis of coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 23,324,549. Across the country, the corona test result was 0.95% while the condition of 639 patients is critical.
During the last 24 hours, coronavirus was defeated by 535 people across the country, bringing the total number of recovering people to 1,255,931. The death toll remains at 2.2 percent.

The highest number of coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh while deaths were reported in Punjab. In Punjab, 444,862 people fell victim to the virus while 13,066 died. In Sindh, 481,381 cases of coronavirus and 7,666 deaths were reported.
In different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 181,334 people fell victim to coronavirus while 5,927 died. In Balochistan, 33,630 cases of the virus were reported and 363 people lost their lives.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,660 people were infected with coronavirusand 746 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,429 cases and 186 deaths were reported.
