Pakistan has qualified for the quarter final of the Junior Hockey World cup in Malysia, today as their final group stage match against Belgium ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Vloeberghs Jack of Belgium scored in 3rd minute of the game to take one nil lead for his team.
Pakistan’s Ahmed Arbaz brought Pakistan back in the match by scoring from a penalty corner to equalize the match in third quarter.
With both teams evenly matched throughout the game, the final whistle blew with the scoreboard deadlocked at 1-1. Alongside Pakistan, Holland secured a spot in the quarter-finals from the same group, ensuring Pakistan’s progression with a stronger goal average.
Pakistan will now face Spain in the Quarter Final of the event on Tuesday.Â
