Gold prices fall by Rs3,500 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday, mirroring the fall in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold fell by Rs3,500 per tola to settle at Rs483,036.

According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs3,001 to Rs414,125.

On Wednesday, gold had closed at Rs486,536 per tola, after declining by Rs600 during the session.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $35 to $4,605 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction, rising by Rs50 to Rs7,329 per tola.
