The international journal The Diplomat has praised Pakistan’s successful diplomacy in Washington, stating that Pakistan has given a new direction to its relations with the United States through its wise and strategic diplomacy.
In a report published in the international journal, it was stated that Pakistan not only increased its importance and influence in the region but also pushed India into diplomatic isolation and under the pressure of heavy tariffs.
India is now suffering from 50% American tariffs and the loss of a presidential visit. India was considered a traditional ally of the U.S., but it rejected the claim of American mediation, calling it an insult to its sovereignty.
Following India’s rejection of the American mediation claim regarding the Indo-Pak conflict, relations entered a state of “deep freeze.”
According to the journal, Pakistan turned this very crisis into a diplomatic opportunity, fully appreciating and welcoming President Trump’s mediatory role.
Pakistan is credited with “wise and strategic diplomacy.”
India is facing 50% tariffs and has been deprived of a U.S. presidential visit.
The shift occurred when India rejected U.S. mediation on the Kashmir/Pak-India conflict, while Pakistan embraced it.
