ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has received more than 14 dual seats JF-17 fighter aircraft from China to protect the defense of the country’s borders.
According to details, the jointly produced dual seal JF-17 fighter jets, which would also be used for pilots’ training will be added to the air force’s fleet during a ceremony currently being held today, where China will hand over the crafts to Pakistan Air Force.
This fighter will not only assist in the training of the pilots in Pakistan air force but will also help in maintaining the defense of the country’s borders.
Furthermore, to raise the country’s defense potential by the air force, the PAF has initiated preparations for Block 3 of JF-17 multirole fighter aircraft. The Block 3 of JF-17 is reported to have better maneuvering capabilities than Rafale fighter jets acquired by India.
Attending the grand ceremony as the chief guest is the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan who will behead the induction of dual-seat JF-17 aircraft into PAF’s fleet. The Chinese Ambassador, Nong Rong and Nigerian officials have also attended the event.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Navy on Wednesday conducted a demonstration of missiles fire from the surface to air which successfully hit their targets. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi observed the demonstration of the missile firing.
He expressed satisfaction over Pakistan Navy’s operational preparedness. Speaking on the occasion, the Naval Chief said the excellent demonstration of missile-firing shows the navy’s operational capabilities and war preparations.
He said Pakistan Navy is fully capable to give a befitting response to any aggression. He said the officers of the Pakistan Navy are ready to defend the maritime boundaries of the country and naval installations.
