ISLAMABAD: Major politicians of the country have announced to contest the elections from different cities and have started submitting their nomination papers.
Nawaz Sharif will contest from Mansehra while Shahbaz Sharif will contest from Karachi and Lahore. According to the details, the former prime minister received nomination papers for NA 15 Mansehra while PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif received nomination papers for NA 242 Karachi and NA 123 Lahore.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari Nawab Shah and Chairman People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will participate in the election from Larkana. Asif Zardari received nomination papers for Nawab Shah 207 while Bilawal received nomination papers for NA 194 Larkana.
Former chairman PTI Imran Khan will contest the election from three constituencies of Mianwali, Lahore, and Islamabad. Jahangir Khan Tareen, head of the Pakistan Stability Party, has announced to contest the election from Lodhran and Multan.
Jahangir Tareen received nomination papers to contest from NA 155, PP 227 and 228 while Mustafa Kamal of MQM (Pakistan) submitted nomination papers for NA 242 Karachi opposite Shehbaz Sharif.
Chairman PTI Gohar Khan and Pervez Khattak are likely to contest the election from Nowshera. The collection and submission of nomination papers by other politicians from across the country is also going on.
