Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has unveiled a comprehensive plan to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during Sehar and Iftar throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
In response to directives from the Ministry of Power Division, LESCO has established special teams comprised of BS9 to BS18 officers and officials. These teams are dedicated to ensuring a seamless power supply to consumers during the crucial Sehar (pre-dawn) and Iftar (fast-breaking) times.
Assuring the public, LESCO Chief Shahid Haider stated that uninterrupted power will be provided across all regions during Ramadan. To enhance monitoring and control, a dedicated control room has been set up at the LESCO headquarters. All officers, including Chief Shahid Haider, will be available in the control room to closely monitor the power supply situation.
Chief Shahid Haider further explained that a separate team from the Grid System Operation Circle has been tasked with ensuring the provision of additional trolley transformers in all subdivisions. Additionally, any burnt transformers will be replaced within a remarkable timeframe of three hours, minimizing disruptions and ensuring a reliable power supply for consumers during the crucial periods of Sehar and Iftar.
The meticulous planning and proactive measures by LESCO aim to enhance the overall experience for the community during the holy month of Ramadan.
