The opposition has filed a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan, which is likely to affect the post of chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Whenever there is a new chairman in the PCB, the current government has a big role behind it and the governing board puts a rubber stamp on the election. It may be recalled that PM Imran Khan had in the past selected Ehsan Mani for the post of Chairman Cricket Board. Later, after his resignation, the post was handed over to Ramiz Raja last year.
Ramiz Raja is holding the post very well. However, if the no-confidence motion against the prime minister succeeds, it will not be possible for Ramiz Raja to continue his work. According to the news outlet, the sources said that they have no shortage of other options including commentary. If they do not like the situation, they may prefer to return home before any decision is taken, it revealed.

Moreover, the interesting thing here is that Ramiz Raja has not been removed yet and other people have started looking for the post of chairman. Later, close associates started congratulating a former chairman on his re-election. Some of his former colleagues have also been claiming to return to the board soon in private meetings.
