Gold prices remained stable in Pakistan in line with no change in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola was unchanged at Rs349,700 on Saturday.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs299,811, unchanged from the previous close, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 24-karat silver per tola also did not change, and maintained the rate of Rs3,417. Internationally also, the gold price remained stable at $3,326 per ounce.
On Friday, the gold price per tola decreased by Rs300 to settle at Rs349,700 in Pakistan.
It should be noted that gold prices have registered a sharp surge in the international market following the US President Donald Trump tariff policy, that has triggered an economic war between the world and as the result the investor opt to buy more and more gold amid uncertainty about the future of dollar.
