LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of Opposition in National Assembly has said, “The nation must know who benefited from the flour crisis.”
In a statement, Shehbaz Sharif said asked that where did the wheat reserves gone in 16 months, adding that if this is the case in 16-month, the situation in the next three would be terrifying.
Shehbaz Sharif also demanded an immediate inquiry into the flour crisis.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should take strong actions against elements involved in flour crises and should resolve the matter immediately.
He further said that the incumbent government termed 2020 as the year of progress but the current situation seems like it will ruin the economy.
It is worth mentioning here that the price of flour has been increased up to Rs 70 in past few days.
