Naseeruddin Shah warns of civil war if anti-Muslim campaign continues in India
Bollywood veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah recently showed displeasure on the growing trend of religious hatred in India and said that if the campaign against Muslims continues like this, there is a danger of civil war in India.
In an interview given to Indian media, Naseeruddin Shah said that Muslims are being made second-class citizens in the Modi government and this is happening in every sector.
“What does it feel like for Indian prime minister Narendra Modi to be a Muslim in India?” this was the question asked from the actor to which he replied that Muslims are being made backward and useless. “If the campaign against Muslims continues like this, then there is a danger of civil war in India,” he said.

Naseeruddin Shah said “a concerted attempt is being made to make Muslims insecure”. He said, “It’s an attempt to make us scared.” However, he added, “We should not be scared.”
An attempt is being made to spread a phobia among Muslims, but again, he added, “We must not admit this is frightening us.” Naseeruddin Shah said that “I don’t feel insecure because this is my home”. But he added, “I’m concerned what will become of my children”.
