ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Communication Murad Saeed has said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has been an independent institution that functions according to the law.
While addressing the National Assembly session Murad Saeed said that the NAB chairman was appointed by the previous government with the consultation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
According to Saeed, it was Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and PPP who earlier used to accuse each other of corruption.

The federal minister added that instead of crying over their leaders who have been arrested on corruption charges, the opposition should raise its voice for the people of Kashmir.
Murad Saeed said, “We should give the message that the whole nation is standing united with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters.”
Speaking on Kashmir issue, Saeed stated that it has been more than 45 days that Kashmir is under curfew and lockdown and there was a dire shortage of essential medicines and commodities.
He said that Pakistan has revealed the true face of the Indian government at the international level. The world has been supporting the stance of Pakistan on the Kashmir dispute, he added.
