ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly will meet today in the federal capital to hold a session on the current situation in the country.
During the session, a preliminary inquiry report on the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crash that occurred in Karachi will be presented in the National Assembly which will be presented by the federal minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan.
According to the preliminary report, the pilot od the plane and air traffic controller are held responsible for the crash that killed up to 90 people.
Earlier this week, Aviation Accident Investigation Board President Usman Ghani presented the preliminary inquiry report to Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had asked Ghulam Sarwar Khan to produce the investigative report by Monday.
The plane, with 99 people on board, crashed in the Model Colony near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi last month on 22nd May, killing 97 people while two passengers survived.
