MQM-P agrees to work with PPP

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan has said that Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari showed very good attitude and the party will not take their guarantee from anyone as Bilawal’s words will be their own guarantee.

Talking to the media exclusively, Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that our legitimate demands have been heard and they are ready to accept. “We will put the demands in writing,” he maintained. Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that PPP did not object to any of the points, the agreement with PPP will be brought to light.

He said that we have included everyone, our demands are also from the federation, if there is a charter of Karachi then it will be a victory of MQM. Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that our problem is not ministry, legislation, and city development.

It should be noted that after the no-confidence motion, contacts are being maintained between PPP and MQM in a recent meeting between the PPP leadership and the MQM leaders. Assurances were given to join the Sindh government and remove reservations in exchange for ending the alliance with the PTI.
