Death toll of animals from lumpy skin disease in Sindh surpasses 189

KARACHI: The situation in Sindh has worsened due to lumpy skin disease in cattle, the death toll of animals has risen to 189.

According to the data released by the Provincial Task Force, the situation of skin disease in animals has become critical, which has led to an increase in the number of deaths of animals to 189, with 18 more skin diseases per day has caused deaths.

According to the task force, the number of sick animals has also increased further, with 590 new cases of infected animals being reported, bringing the number of infected animals to 26,431.

The highest number of 16,134 in Karachi, 4,414 in Thatta, 506 in Hyderabad, 782 in Tando Muhammad Khan, 827 in Badin, 690 in Bola Khan police station, 554 in Khairpur, 473 in Qambar Shahdad Kot, and 347 in Jamshoro. In Sanghar, 610 cows have been infected with skin disease.

On the other hand, the number of animals recovered from Lampi Skin has risen to 10,041. I have 10, Matiari 3, Khairpur 27, Qambar Shahdad Kot 10, Bola Khan Police Station 21, Jamshoro 10, Dadu 1, Benazirabad 5, and Karachi 20.
