ISLAMABAD: Heavy fog is prevailing in different cities of Pakistan. and due to that, motorways have been closed for traffic at various places.
Motorway police have instructed citizens to avoid unnecessary travel. According to details, there is heavy fog in the plains of Punjab and Sindh. The motorway was closed to traffic at various places. Fog is also prevailing in different cities of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A spokesman for the Motorway Police said that there was heavy fog in Lahore. Motorway M3 from Faizpur to Darkhana, Motorway M4 from Gojra to Faisalabad, and Sher Shah Multan Interchange to Faisalabad were closed.

Motorway M5 from Multan to Rahim Yar Khan was closed. Due to heavy fog, load shedding took place in different cities of South Punjab including Multan. Traffic flow is affected due to reduced visibility on the motorway.
Due to heavy fog, Swat Expressway from KSK to Katling was closed. Motorway police instructed citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and to use fog lights in case of forced travel.
