MoST to launch two programs this month

ISLAMABAD: Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry has announced to launch two programs in August.
Taking to Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry wrote that two programs by the Ministry of Science and Technology would be launched this month with the approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“The first program is related to medical engineering. I want the whole district of Sialkot to be given the status as Gwadar in order to increase exports from Rs. 400 million to Rs. 2.2 billion in two years,” the minister wrote in a tweet.

The federal minister further wrote that the second program is to set up two high-tech agricultural farms ranging from two to twelve acres.
In another tweet, he added, “Using state-of-the-art technology, these farms will change the way small farmers cultivate, and with that, we will change the whole environment of our agriculture.”
