LAHORE: Lahore experiences pleasant conditions following drizzle; meteorological department forecasts intermittent rainfall across multiple provinces.
Lahore’s scorching heat has given way to more pleasant weather conditions following a spell of drizzle that swept across several neighborhoods of Punjab’s provincial capital on July 6, 2026. The moisture-laden winds brought temporary relief to residents of Allama Iqbal Town, Wahdat Road, Mustafa Town, Muslim Town, and surrounding areas, marking the onset of monsoon influences in the region.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that Lahore’s current temperature stands at 32 degrees Celsius, with minimum and maximum temperatures expected to reach 28 and 37 degrees Celsius respectively.
Wind speeds have been recorded at 13 kilometers per hour, while humidity levels have reached 69 percent, contributing to the relatively more comfortable atmospheric conditions experienced throughout the city.
Punjab and Lahore
Following light rainfall in Narowal city and its surrounding areas, cool winds have substantially improved weather conditions across Punjab. The Meteorological Department anticipates intermittent cloud cover and light rainfall in various districts of Punjab, including Lahore, throughout the day.
Federal Capital Region
Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to experience hot and humid weather during daylight hours. Partly cloudy skies are forecast for afternoon periods, with rain, gusty winds, and thundershowers anticipated during the evening or night hours.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Hot and humid weather will persist across most districts of the province. However, isolated rain and thunderstorms are expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Buner, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Kurram, Kohat, Hangu, Orakzai, and adjoining areas.
Sindh and Balochistan
Extremely hot and humid conditions are predicted to persist across most districts of Sindh, with partly cloudy skies possible in coastal areas. Balochistan will remain extremely hot and dry across most districts, though partly cloudy weather is expected in coastal regions.
