LAHORE / ISLAMABAD: A fresh spell of monsoon rains has entered several parts of Pakistan, bringing welcome relief from the summer heat while simultaneously disrupting power supply and prompting urban and flash flood warnings across multiple regions.
Dark rain clouds enveloped major urban hubs and surrounding districts, turning the weather pleasant in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and several neighboring towns. However, the downpour also resulted in localized disruptions, with power supply suspended in multiple neighborhoods following feeder trips.
