Milk prices in Karachi likely to rise after petroleum price hike

Following the sharp increase in petroleum product prices, milk prices in Karachi are also expected to rise.

According to details, after the demand for a price increase by the Dairy Farmers Association, the Commissioner Karachi has convened a meeting to review the official price of milk.

According to a statement, the meeting will be held on 18 March at the Commissioner’s House Karachi.

Earlier, the President of the Dairy Farmers Association, Shakir Gujjar, had demanded an increase of Rs320 per kilogram in the price of milk a few days ago.
