LAHORE: The Judicial Court in a written order against singer Meesha Shafi in the defamation case filed by Ali Zafar case has said that Shafi has made a mockery of the law and justice process as she is playing hide and seek with the court.
According to details, Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Murtaza Work issued a four-page written order in the last hearing of the case against singer Ali Zafar for campaigning on social media.
In this written decision, the court has remarked that Meesha Shafi has made a mockery of the law and the justice process. Meesha Shafi is playing hide and seek with the court.

The court said that due to the absence of Shafi and Mahim Javed, the court trial is being adversely affected, therefore the request of Meesha Shafi and Javed to attend and pardon and re-appoint representative has been rejected.
Further, the court decision said that arrest warrants are issued for Meesha Shafi and Mahim Javed, giving them one last chance. Court rejects actress Iffat Rahim’s request for a pardon from attendance, accused Ali Gul Pir and Leena Ghani. However, the accused did not speak in accordance with the law in the petition, therefore their pleas for acquittal are also rejected.
