Kylian Mbappe has reportedly put pen to paper on a mega-money five-year deal with Real Madrid after confirming he will leave Paris Saint-Germain.
Real Madrid has long been linked with a move for him, while Arsenal and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest. Now, it appears that Mbappe is closing in on a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Frenchman has previously been linked to Los Blancos on two occasions in 2017 and 2022.
According to those same rumors, Mbappe will sign a five-year contract with Los Blancos, with a salary between €15 million and €20 million. In 2022, Real Madrid made a higher offer since they believed they had more negotiating power. However, if the reports are true, Mbappe ultimately chose to accept the deal and join the team.
Until the club makes an official announcement, the majority of Real Madrid supporters will probably continue to be skeptical, but it appears that this time it might be genuine.
“I am going to try to bring this topic to an end. I don’t have any comments to make,” Enrique added. “The parties involved haven’t yet said anything publicly, Kylian Mbappe hasn’t said anything publicly. When both parties speak, I will give my opinion.”
