At twenty-six years old, Mohamed possesses a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sydney and is currently pursuing studies in fashion design at Esmod Institute in Dubai.

The United Arab Emirates had its first official contestant in the Miss Universe pageant in 2024.
The first contestant to represent the UAE at Miss Universe was Emilia Dobreva at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant (the 73rd edition) in Mexico City.
She was a Kosovo-born model and a long-time Dubai resident, married to an Emirati man.
The UAE’s debut was a notable event in the pageant world.
However, the UAE’s first Emirati national to compete at Miss Universe is Mariam Mohamed, who was crowned Miss Universe UAE 2025 and is set to compete in the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand.
The upcoming global Miss Universe competition will be held next month in Thailand.
