An unusual incident occurred in India where a man was fined by police for not wearing a helmet while driving a car.
According to Indian media, the incident took place in Agra district, Uttar Pradesh, where a man was seen driving his car while fully wearing a helmet.
When asked about this unusual behavior, the man explained that it was a precaution following a strange traffic fine he had previously received.
Identified as Gulshan, a school teacher, he told Indian media that on November 26, he was fined ₹1,100 for allegedly not wearing a helmet while driving his car.
Gulshan explained that he was wearing a seatbelt at the time, but the traffic police still imposed the helmet fine.
Surprised by the incident, he now wears a helmet every time he drives to avoid further complications.
He said he will continue following this precaution to prevent additional fines.
The case has gone viral on social media, attracting both amusement and astonishment, and is being described as a possible administrative error. Police officials have not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
